The rules of the game.

This is an English translation for convenience; the French version is the legally binding one.
1. The service
Abrège Bot is a service published by NUMEROGEEK that transcribes and summarizes voice messages sent via WhatsApp, then returns that summary to the user. Using the service means accepting these terms.
2. Access
You need an active WhatsApp account. No sign-up is required: the conversation with the bot is enough. The service is meant for ordinary personal or professional use.
3. Quotas and limits
- Trial offer: 5 summarized voice notes free in total, once, on first use. These free voice notes don't renew and are neither carried over nor transferable.
- Abrège Bot Premium: 100 voice notes per calendar month, for €5.99 per month.
- Maximum length of a voice note: 15 minutes.
- The Premium counter resets on the 1st of each month and doesn't carry over.
- A technical cap of a few voice notes per minute applies to protect the service.
4. Subscription, payment, cancellation
The Premium subscription is taken out from the WhatsApp conversation, via a Stripe payment link. It's monthly, with no commitment, and renews automatically. You can cancel anytime with the "subscription" command, which opens your Stripe portal: Premium access stays active until the end of the period already paid for. If a payment fails, Stripe retries; if the subscription is eventually cancelled, Premium access stops. The trial offer's free voice notes aren't renewed: once used, using the service goes through the subscription.
By using the service as soon as you subscribe, you request its immediate performance; the right of withdrawal therefore doesn't apply to periods already used.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Abrège Bot to:
- process illegal content, or content obtained illegally;
- transcribe conversations of people who haven't consented to being recorded — a voice note someone sends you on WhatsApp is meant to be heard by you, that's the intended use case;
- try to bypass the quotas, or disrupt how the service runs.
NUMEROGEEK may suspend access in case of obvious abuse.
6. What the service doesn't guarantee
Summaries are produced by artificial intelligence. They may contain errors, approximations or misreadings. Check the information before any decision that commits you (appointment, amount, contractual commitment): the original voice note is what counts, not the summary. The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of continuous availability.
7. Your content
The voice notes you send stay yours. They're only used to produce your summary, aren't kept (see the privacy policy) and don't train any model.
8. Stopping
Send "stop" to the bot so it stops replying to you. Remember to cancel your subscription first if you're on Premium.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, write first to contact@abregebot.com: nearly all problems get solved there. In accordance with the French Consumer Code, you can also use consumer mediation or the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
